Yana Robinson (Treasurer)
Yana Robinson - Manager, WDF Accounting + Advisory
1.What is your work/passion/side hustle?
I am a Client Services Manager at WDF Accounting + Advisory. I started working at WDF in 2017 and have over 16 years experience in public accounting practices. After graduating from Charles Sturt University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting/Banking) I then completed the CA program and was admitted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2014. I assist my clients with business advice as well as complex accounting and taxation services. I enjoy helping my clients to minimise the administrative burden of running a business through implementing time saving solutions to everyday problems.
2. Beyond the 9 to 5 β what do you live for?
Spending time with my husband and 2 young kids brings me the most happiness. Beyond that, I love travelling, fine food and squeezing in a Barre or dance class whenever I can.
3. How did you land in Wagga - Are you Wagga born and bred, grew up here moved away and returned, moved here later in life and stayed because you love it, or something else that landed you here?
My dadβs work moved our family to Wagga at the end of 2001. This was great timing for me to start high school in Wagga. I have lived here since then with no plans to move away. I love the work-life balance that Wagga offers and the fact that we are close enough to easily travel to Canberra, Sydney & Melbourne whenever we want to.
4. Woman (famous or not) you are most inspired by and why?
I am most inspired by Sophia Bush. She won me over as a teenager starring on my favourite tv show but I am inspired now by her extensive advocacy work and her willingness and ability to stand up for what she believes in.
