Jenny loves talking all things finance, and helping people to change how they think and feel about money. She is a financial education specialist, having worked in the financial services and education sectors since 1992, and for more than a decade as a consultant with clients including ACER, the Association of Superannuation Funds Australia, Charles Sturt University, Commonwealth Bank, CPA Australia, FASEA, Griffith University, Kaplan Professional, Pearson Vue, University of Canberra and Victoria University Online.

This work, combined with her academic research into financial socialisation, means Jenny understands everyone learns differently, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to managing money and building financial security.

Jenny founded Sprout Education Group in 2018, providing financial wellbeing workshops, education services, and engaging in advocacy in areas such as gender equality and financial abuse. She also hosts the “It’s Not About The Money (Australia)” podcast, exploring why Australian women are more likely to experience lower levels of financial wellbeing, dispelling myths and promoting systemic solutions to create a nation where gender doesn’t determine financial outcomes.
