2020 Mentor Profile: Nicole Killen
NICOLE KILLEN
Regional Agribusiness Manager Riverina/Wagga, NAB
I have been an employee of NAB for over 27 years. I grew up in the Western Districts of Victoria and my passion for Agriculture comes from spending time on my Mum’s family farm as a child.
I have changed roles within the organisation on average every 18 months to 2 years and eventually found that leadership was my passion and my strength. I have spent the last 15 years in senior executive leadership positions. I have managed 4 large regions as a Regional Executive for our Retail business, the Western suburbs in Melbourne, Bendigo, Ballarat and Wagga. On average, I was responsible for approximately 260 staff in each of these these positions. I then moved in our Agribusiness segment as this aligns closely with my passion for Ag in Australia and now manage 3 locations, Wagga, Griffith and Deniliquin where I am responsible for 14 Agribusiness Managers and 8 Analysts. It is an exciting position dealing with a very diverse Agricultural portfolio in the Riverina in both farmgate and post farmgate operations. My role is to embed deep relationships and provide superior service to our customers as a very specialised business.
