Sârn’s love for food began early, baking alongside her Mum in the family kitchen every Sunday in her hometown of Adelaide. What started as childhood joy quickly grew into a lifelong passion.

Sârn is no stranger to Wagga’s food scene. She has worked in some of the region’s most beloved venues, including The Roundabout Restaurant Meccanico Espresso & Wine and Pastorale by Meccanico. She is also one of Food I Am’s cooking School teachers, showcasing some world flavours. Now at Hide Steak & Bar…built on warmth, flavour, and connection. Known for her creative flair, love of a good steak and an addition of a little theatre in her desserts.

An avid traveller and lover of authentic local experiences, Sârn has eaten her way across the world—from Singapore Street Food to back-alley tapas bars to Michelin-starred fine dining. These global adventures fuel her creativity and inspire the dishes she serves up right here in the Riverina.
