How long have you been a member of Women in Business?

Since 2009.

What made you decide to apply to the WIB Mentor Program?

I was keen to expand my business, especially into the social media market and was hoping to be aligned with Simone Eyles in order to extend my knowledge and gain a greater understanding of this area and how it might benefit my business and growth.

How would you best describe the one on one sessions with your mentor?

Our sessions have been so insightful and empowering. Simone is always encouraging, however has pushed me outside of my comfort zone and I have really benefited from this. Simone has been very  honest in sharing her thoughts and ideas on what I have presented at our meetings.

What's your favourite part of the Mentoring Program?

I was so very pleased to be matched with Simone and mentored by her, however even more than that I have found the entire mentee group so supportive and genuinely helpful to one another in each of our business endeavours. I know that this group will remain friends for many years to come and I can always come to for support and guidance.

How does being a part of Women in Business resonate with you?

WiB is such a supportive and encouraging group of like-minded businesswomen. I love to surround myself with others that are on a similar path to succeed in what they do.

Would you recommend Women in Business to others?

I would certainly recommend WiB to others, and do so on many occasions and would highly recommend the mentoring program. It is such a fabulous initiative and a fantastic resource that WiB offers to members at no fee.

What motivates you?

Passion, if you love what you do, then motivation simply follows.

What's the biggest issue facing regional areas? 

I believe one of the biggest issues facing regional areas is the thought that many have that you cannot achieve or succeed in your chosen career/business in a regional area, and this is simply not the case. There are so many fabulous local stories to share that corroborate this, that will shine through in the Hear them Roar series.

My business offers personalised service that comes to you. When you call you come direct to me and always deal directly with me, not through an international call centre. I look after you.
