About Jo
Jo Cochrane is a champion bodybuilder. In 2018, she won both the NABBA Ms Physique and WFF Figure Extreme divisions at the Sydney Grand Classic. But just a few years ago, she was too scared to even step foot into a gym.
Jo’s turned her life around with a massive personal transformation of having lost 70kgs naturally. This is what lead Jo into the career path of Personal Trainer and Fitness guru.
As you can see Jo was not always in the fitness industry. She started her career as a qualified Chef, working in the industry for over 18 years, she found success in establishing her own restaurant and went on to create one of Wagga’s longest running coffee vans, Spilt Milk Espresso. Her dedication to bring Wagga the best coffee won her the 2015 Wagga Wagga Business Chambers Crow Award for Best New Business.
Jo features in 3 of Michelle Bridges published books as a weight loss success story, and has made her mark within the wellness sector of the Riverina through public speaking. Jo draws on her eclectic life experiences of entrepreneurship as a young female, weight loss, overcoming addiction and coming out as a gay woman in a rural city.
About Bec
Bec Layton is a Yoga teacher, designer, art maker, nature lover, snow chaser and adventure seeker with an unquenchable thirst for life.
Bec shares her love of life and yoga by inspiring and guiding others to find their true authentic self through her classes, workshops and retreats at Yoga with Bec.
When Bec discovered Yoga in 2014, that connection took centre stage. She fell in love with the ancient yogic traditions and Yoga’s power to heal and transform. Through Yoga, Bec discovered the space within to learn and face her fears and journey from a place of depression and anxiety to wellness.
However, for many years, Bec’s full-time profession has been in the world of design. As a Graphic Designer, Bec has worked in advertising, editorial design, marketing, fashion and brand design. At the age of 25, she co-founded White Ninja, a snow apparel brand stocked both in Australia and abroad.
More recently, she is the founder and creative director of Studio Skecky, a small design agency working with small businesses around Australia to bring their businesses to life with branding and web design that connects them to their dream clientele.
Bec feels incredibly privileged to be able to share her experience and these learnings with her others, particularly her passion for healing, movement and creativity.
