Women in Business Wagga Wagga invites you to join us for a lunch event, hosted in conjunction with the South West Slopes Law Society at The Laneway Romano's Hotel, with guest speaker Elizabeth Espinosa, President of the Law Society of New South Wales.

Lunch will include a selection of hot finger food and assorted sandwiches and wraps. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar.

Time: 12pm, for 12:30pm start. Event will conclude by 1.30pm.

Elizabeth Espinosa
President of the Law Society of New South Wales

Elizabeth Espinosa took up the role as the President of the Law Society of NSW on 1 January 2019.
Elizabeth is the first graduate from the University of Wollongong to hold this position and the first member of her family to practise as a lawyer. Elizabeth is a strong supporter of professional integrity, the rule of law, natural justice principles, education and diversity and inclusion.

In her current and previous role as General Counsel in a local government authority, Elizabeth is a crucial part of the executive team and a lead decision maker in numerous complex matters. She has often been involved in the interplay of various Commonwealth and State legislation and corporate governance and probity principles, including responding to investigations by the NSW Ombudsman and the Independent Commission Against Corruption.

Elizabeth has taken a year’s leave of absence from her role at Liverpool City Council where she manages and supervises three divisions – legal, governance and procurement.

Refund Policy 

Requests for refunds must be made prior to the RSVP deadline, as specified in the event details, using the “Request a Refund” option within Eventbrite. Requests for refunds will be responded to within four (4) business days.

You may transfer your ticket to another person at no cost, except in the instance a member ticket is transferred to a non-member, the ticket price difference must be paid. A partial refund will not be offered for a non-member ticket transferred to a member. Please use the “Contact the Organiser” option within Eventbrite and provide the name, organisation and email address for the ticket transfer.

Last Minute Tickets, where applicable, are non-refundable.
